Retirement and ageing are transitions that can be scary and exciting. Transitions can bring grief and trauma, but they also bring excitement and opportunity.

Join Dr John Barletta for this informative, interesting and interactive session as he tackles the ‘what and how’ of wellbeing, guiding goals and actions to help you focus on what’s important, so you can develop the best version of yourself in retirement and ageing.

These FREE sessions are for anyone transitioning to retirement or already in retirement, and interested in how to forge a great retirement and stay well and connected. Light refreshments provided.

About Dr John Barletta

Dr John Barletta, PhD, is a trained Clinical Psychologist and the Health and Wellbeing Specialist for the Queensland Men’s Shed Association, as well as the Health and Wellbeing Officer for Maleny Men’s Shed. After a rewarding career in academia and health, he retired and immediately became a ‘Shedder’. John received a grant from the Department of Health and Aged Care (through the Australian Men’s Shed Association) to publish his Wellbeing Workbook – A Comprehensive Guide to Creating a Healthy, Happy, Productive, Long Retirement.

All attendees will receive a copy of the Wellbeing Workbook.
