SHED AWARDS 2026
Celebrating the Best of Queensland Sheds
The Queensland Men's Shed Association Awards are back in 2026! It’s your chance to shine showcase your Shed’s creativity, teamwork, and commitment to men’s health and wellbeing. Winners will be announced and awarded at the 2026 QMSA Annual General Meeting.
2026 Award Categories
🛠️ Best Shed Website 🛠️ Outstanding Shed Health Project
Category 1: Best Shed Website
Entry Requirements:
Submit the URL (website address) of your Men's Shed website. The website must be publicly accessible and represent a Queensland Men's Shed.
Judging Criteria:
1. Discoverability and Contact Information: Can visitors easily find your website and locate key information
2. User Experience and Navigation: Is the website easy to navigate, well organised and accessible
3. Shed Identity and Content: Is the website current, engaging and representative of your Shed?
The website will be judged as it appears on the closing date for entries.
To Enter: eMail your URL to awards@qmsa.org.au. Include your Shed name and contact person
Category 2: Outstanding Health & Wellbeing Project
Entry Requirements:
Submit a half-page summary of your health initiative.
Judging Criteria:
1. Impact & Effectiveness: How did the activity improve members’ health?
2. Innovation: How was the approach modern, unique or creative?
3. Participation & Engagement: Was there a clear activity leader, and are members still involved
To Enter: eMail your entry to: awards@qmsa.org.au. Include your Shed name, contact person, and relevant materials.
Eligibility Period:
Entries close on 2 November 2026.
Terms & Conditions:
1. There is no entry fee and no monetary prize associated with this competition.
2. Entries must be original and the intellectual property of the Shed submitting them.
3. By entering, Sheds give QMSA permission to share their submitted materials for promotional or educational purposes.
4. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Late entries will not be considered.
6. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
