Gladstone Men's Shed Open Day

To celebrate Men's Shed Week, the Gladstone Men's Shed is opening its doors and inviting the local community to come and see what happens inside the Shed.

Visitors will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the facilities, meet members, and explore a variety of projects currently under construction. From community-focused creations for local Early Childhood Centres to impressive builds such as a fire engine cubby house, a Santa sleigh for Christmas photo opportunities, and the Shed's well-known 2.4-metre Safety Men for industry, there will be plenty to discover.

Throughout the morning, guests can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee, try their hand at a few holes of mini-golf, and browse a range of handcrafted items made by Shed members. A garage sale will also feature a large selection of refurbished fishing rods, surplus tools, and other bargains.

Whether you're curious about joining a Men's Shed, interested in seeing local craftsmanship in action, or simply looking for a great community event, everyone is welcome. Visitors can also chat with members about projects and repair jobs that the Shed may be able to assist with.
