Round 26 of the NSDP is OPEN!

Boost Your Shed's Health and Wellbeing!

Round 26 of the National Shed Development Program (NSDP) is now accepting applications! The NSDP aims to ensure that all Men’s Sheds in Australia can access a wide range of resources and support tailored to their unique needs.

Categories 1 and 4 specifically focused on health and wellbeing programs for your members. QMSA value the benefits of promoting health and wellbeing within the Shed community, and we encourage Sheds to apply for programs under these categories.

There are many possible programs and activities that qualify under the criteria, and that could benefit and resonate with your Shed members. From organising cooking classes that promote healthy eating habits to offering mental health first aid courses, every step contributes to building a stronger and healthier community. Why not invite specialist guest speakers to share their knowledge and insights as part of your program? Or start an exercise class to benefit physical and mental well-being. And here's an exciting fact: creative arts workshops have been proven to support mental health, too, so don't hesitate to consider the benefits of an arts program in your plans!

QMSA is here to help If you have an idea for a Health and Wellbeing program but need guidance or resources to bring it to life, our dedicated Regional Coordinator, Frank, would love to help. Feel free to reach out to him via email:regionalcoordinator@qmsa.org.au
