The inaugural Queensland Men's Shed Association Awards are here! It’s your chance to shine showcase your Shed’s creativity, teamwork, and commitment to men’s health and wellbeing. Winners will be announced and awarded at the 2025 QMSA Annual General Meeting.

2025 Award Categories

🛠️ Best Shed Newsletter 🛠️ Outstanding Shed Health Project

Category 1: Best Shed Newsletter

Entry Requirements:

Submit a copy of your Shed newsletter that was eMailed to members.

Judging Criteria:

1. Clarity and Content Value: Is it informative, easy to read and relevant?

2. Structure and Presentation: Is it well organised and visually clear?

3. Shed Identity: Does it include your Shed’s name/logo and contact details?

Category 2: Outstanding Health Project

Entry Requirements:

Submit a half-page summary of your health initiative.

Judging Criteria:

1. Impact & Effectiveness: How did the activity improve members’ health?

2. Innovation: How was the approach modern, unique or creative?

3. Participation & Engagement: Was there a clear activity leader, and are members still involved?

Eligibility Period:

Entries close on 2 November 2025.

To Enter: eMail your entry to: awards@qmsa.org.au. Include your Shed name, contact person, and relevant materials.

1. There is no entry fee and no monetary prize associated with this competition.

2. Entries must be original and the intellectual property of the Shed submitting them.

3. By entering, Sheds give QMSA permission to share their submitted materials for promotional or educational purposes.

4. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Late entries will not be considered.

6. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
