Open to all Queensland Men's Shed members, this exciting competition invites you to showcase your musical talents for a chance to win fantastic prizes and launch your song at the upcoming Coolum Men’s Shed Shed Music Festival ‘26.
Men’s Shed Songwriting Competition
Whether you're an experienced musician or an amateur songwriter, the Queensland Men’s Shed Songwriting Competition is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. The competition opens on 1 June 2025 and closes on 30 July 2026.
The competition is about celebrating creativity and connecting with other Men’s Shed members who share your passion for music. It’s a fantastic chance to get your song out there and be part of something special - and to earn bragging rights - with winning songs to be performed LIVE at Shed Music 26 in Coolum.

Shed Music '26 Festival: A Celebration of Music and Health

The ShedMusic ’26 Festival gives Men’s Shed musicians of all abilities the chance to perform for fellow Shed members and the wider community, all in a welcoming, relaxed setting that also supports on-site health checks.
Once again, the festival will showcase amateur Shed musicians from across Australia and New Zealand. You are welcome to join us as performers or audience.
