SEQ Men’s Sheds invited to get onboard with My Health for Life Program

A number of Men’s Sheds in Southeast Queensland have successfully completed the My Health for Life program. The initiative is now seeking new sheds to collaborate with in 2025, focusing on locations between Bribie Island and the Gold Coast, and west to the Lockyer Valley.

My Health for Life is a FREE program that connects qualified Health Coaches with participants to help them discover ways to make healthier choices and develop sustainable habits. This partnership aims to support men in improving both their physical and mental health through simple changes.

The program is delivered over six sessions, allowing participants to work with their Health Coach to set personal goals and create a step-by-step plan to achieve them—all in the comfort of your own shed! Setbacks are perfectly normal; you’ll receive support, tools, and guidance to manage any challenges along the way.

If you feel like you don’t have time to focus on your health, are struggling to take the first step, or simply don’t know where to start, My Health for Life is designed for everyday people to make healthier choices and cultivate lasting habits.
